Pullups are getting better, more dialed in and focused.

Here's more math once I get up to the 5 ladders 5 rungs ..
150 total at 32kg = 10500
75 pullups at 220 = 16500
total = 27000

That is a freaking ton of volume! How did the pull ups feel?

Nice job on the snatch test, too! 100 in 5 is no joke...

Leaving me all alone on the combat zone? Here's the results from the heavy day..

5X3 ladders with 32kg
5X3 pullups..

I started to do a little math on this..
60 total reps of C&P with a 32kg = 4200lbs moved
30 reps of pullups with 220 BW = 6600lbs moved
total = 10800lbs moved

Also for shits and gigs I did the RKC snatch test (24kg) to "test" myself
did a 100 reps in 4:40...went with the 15lr, 12lr, 10lr, 8lr, and 5 lr scheme..form started to deterioate somewhat...
I was in a bloody mess of sweat, snot, and cusswords...

Next time I want to "test"..I'll do the test first

Dale - check out Robb Wolf, Mark Sisson, Dr. Eades, etc site for nutrition....in a nutshell: eat lean meats, veggies, good fats and some fruits. Take fish oil and get as much sleep as you can.

Light Day = performed same volume as you with the 32kg, 80 snatches with 24kg in 6 min.

Medium Day = 5X2 C&P and Pullups, 32kg swings =105 in 7 minutes. Swings are improving, grip strength improving.

Really need to start focusing on nutrition and shave the fat off my ass..

Definitely much better...I'm up to 5Xladders this week, but the rungs stop at 3. Next week I bump up the rungs by one so..
L = 5X2
M=5X3
H=5X4

It's amazing how heavy swings are so taxing to the heart/lungs. Also makes the 24kg feel light...

Pullups still suck, but are progressing. For multiple reps how do you focus on keeping the shoulder "corkscrewed" in while at the bottom of a dead hang?
